Well I met some really wonderful ladies last night regarding a home based business. I really am interested in doing this, because I need to work a part-time job right now, and making $8 at the mall won't get me to my financial goals at the pace that I want.
So, if anybody is interested in Silpada let me know! I would love to do this, and I would love to get my business off to a good start. If you have any ideas, I'm all ears!!!!
It would be so awesome if I could be successful at Silpada. The ladies suggested that I write down my goals. You know, I don't think I have ever done that, so my project for today is to write down my goals and to brain storm names of people who I think would like to have parties for me. One of my "silly" goals is to get a new vacuum cleaner. But one of my "serious" goals is to get out of debt.
I'm a list sort of person, so I think I will save my goals on my thumb drive, so that when I accomplish them, they can be crossed through. I love having that visual!

Monday, August 18
While my weekend didn't go exactly as I had planned, at least it ended on a stronger, brighter note. I'm now at school looking forward to another day with my new group of 7th graders. I still can't believe that I have twice as many girls as boys! How did that happen? I really need to get my hair cut this week, but trying to find the time is proving to be a challenge. I guess if that is the only thing I have to worry about, I'm pretty fortunate. Usually, however, I forget how fortunate I really am and then I start to take things for granted.
